What is this blog about?

Dear Reader,
I'm on the never ending construction that is my blog.

I read this book called "A Room of One's own" by Virginia Woolf, in this book Virginia talks about the importance of having of having money and a space of your own in order to have self expression.

"A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction"

In a sense this blog is very own room of my own in this virtual world. I think we've become commodified to the restricctions of social media and. My desire to have a internet blog goes back to my childhood years when I use to spend hours on the computer browsing the worldwide web, I felt fascinated by all the sites they use to be back then, all the different from another topics like Fashion, Toys, etc .

Honestly I didn't know how to create one so I just saw from a side. Moreover I feel nowadays the internet have become small even though we spend more time than ever on it! And another one of my goals with this site is to ground myself more in the real world and make just a window to the internet world. I wonder if you have ever felt like this before.

A few years ago, I discovered Neocities and other type of similar sites, I really liked the idea of coming back (and with more of a grown up mindset) finally make my own! I really like to try different things like watercolor, color pencils, photography, etc. So I thought my blog should reflect all these different things I'm into, I really like to browse other people's sites, see which kind of things they are into, and how they decorate their own space, I think you can get to see lots of interesting people over here.
I also think having you own site feels more intentional and you get to connect more with people in my opinion. In this virtual room I want to let lose of the constrains I felt by social media like not having enough personalization options and restrictions of things you can or cannot do! I want to express about the things I like my hobbies, books and things I'm passionate about. I encourage anyone that reads this to make you own blog and dismiss comparison and make something feels like you! If you feel the itch to do so of course. So if you feel like you are a person who resonates with these feelings, stay by and wait for more updates!
